The user may include selected or all metadata fields, use Boolean operators, multilingual features and vocabularies when shaping the query. The search may be restricted to those records that carry audio samples and items and collections might be searched individually.

When the users starts the search for “Rumba” in the simple search the screen changes and the result list is displayed.

The "Index scan" shows the information on how many records in each archive have been found.

Clicking once on the archive acronym adds the archive to the query. This way more than one archive might be looked through. (If the user selects RBB and than TOM and hits the return button – or starts the search again – then only the joint 33 items of these archives are displayed in the result list.

Clicking once again on the same archive acronym leads the user immediately to the found items of this archive.
